The award-winning Reserve Gin Hude has been aged for several months in an orgeat liqueur triple sec barrel and therefore has a delicious orange aroma and flavour. When opened, a subtle orange note unfolds, as well as a hint of vanilla. Traditionally and artisan distilled, all the flavours of the handpicked botanicals are captured. At the Craft Spirit Festival (CSF), Gin Hude 2020 was awarded the CSF Award in Silver. It also won silver at The Spirit Business Gin Masters 2020.
Gin Hude was founded by Jörg Hildebrand with his wife Karina. Jörg spent many years searching for the perfect gin recipe. In January 2020, the first 799 bottles were distilled in the Feingeisterei at Gut Basthorst in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein. Each bottle is personally and hand-signed by the two with the batch and bottle number.
