This gin with liquorice represents a centuries-old tradition in Bavaria. Did you know that the only liquorice fields in Germany are located in the Wunderburg district of Bamberg? This special dry gin is distilled with 14 other selected botanicals. It brings beautifully integrated notes of juniper berry, rosemary and fine citrus, but liquorice dominates. We recommend it as a gin and tonic together with a liquorice root as a garnish or simply neat. One thing is clear: this drop is good for grating liquorice.
The small spirits manufacturer Costoluto produces and distributes extraordinary taste experiences. They process liquorice grown in Germany in gin, liqueurs, brandies and spirits. In the Wunderburg district of Bamberg, the only German liquorice fields have been cultivated since the 16th century. A signature distillate for this manufactory.
