A northern German brewery without a pilsner? That's not possible at all. Ratsherrn Pilsener combines the four hop varieties Herkules, Tradition, Select and Saphir into a slender body: tangy, refreshing and hoppy. Did you know that Pilsener is the most drunk beer in the north? We have brewmaster Josef Groll to thank for this deliciously tart beer style - in 1842 he brewed the first bottom-fermented lager with a pronounced hop note in Pilsen. Thank you Josef and cheers!
Hamburg's Ratsherrn brewery creates delicious beers according to Hamburg brewing tradition in the middle of the Schanzenhöfe. Also inspired by the international craft beer movement, special beers have been created and it is hard to imagine bars and domestic fridges without them.
