Simple and delicious: only organic Brazil nuts and organic cane sugar - and a good hand at distilling. The result is a smooth taste with a, not too sweet, full nutty note. Ideal as a sweet snack in between meals or as a special nibble during a series marathon.
Mother Veldkamp is an absolutely traditional manufactory that has been trading in sugar confectionery for many generations. Today, the manufactory, which is known from the Hamburg Cathedral, is continued by Tom Veldkamp. As early as the middle of the 19th century, his great-grandmother Wilhelmine Catharina Veldkamp was already roasting almonds and the like. She got her nickname because of her commitment to orphans: in addition to monetary donations, she opened her cathedral café on one day exclusively for orphans of World War 1, who received free coffee and cake here.
