The rare Burgundy truffle is the special ingredient that makes Boar Gin so exceptional. The truffle removes bitterness and pungency from the gin, resulting in a very mild taste with a gentle, pleasant finish. Most of the botanicals used grow wild in the Black Forest and are refined with mineral-rich deep spring water. When opened, aromas of juniper, lavender, thyme and a light citrus note unfold. On the tongue, pepper, rosemary and ginger create a complex interplay.
Boar is the most awarded gin of 2017! It received gold at the World Spirits Awards and double gold at the Global Spirit Awards, among others.
