A gin to kneel down! Edgy and strong with a present juniper note. The hand-picked botanicals, such as cranberries, rosehip, sloes and juniper, grow in mystical places in the Heide region. For example, some ingredients come from the Totengrund, a valley of unearthly beauty, the sloes are collected in the heart of the Heide in Undeloh and many a spicy herb in this gin comes from the feet of the Aue. According to Dr Bosselmann, the full moon provides particularly rich fruit and incomparable aromas. The Heide gin is bottled in very small batches with a maximum daily production of 12 litres, because good things want to rest and mature.

In his Heide Distillery in the Lüneburg Heath, Dr Bosselmann, baker, alchemist and scientist, distils with the highest standards and precision. In Europe's smallest private distillery, they don't distil for stock or as a daily bread, but for the pure pleasure of it and only when the appropriate botanicals are ripe. He himself says: "Every now and then I sell my treasures... What luck that we at Motherland were able to secure a few bottles for you. There are never more than 100 batches. This is more or less 100% "l'art pour l'art".
