The organic Schmidt Winery has been around since 1987 and is now run by the second generation of Helen and Martin Schmidt. They also took over the traditional Kiefer winery a few years ago. With the Schmidts, organic is practised out of deep conviction and not for marketing or trendy reasons. Health and an intact nature are closely related to what we buy, eat and drink. Their wines are distinctive, independent and simply delicious.
