Summer Blossom Honey
Honey from Hamburg: This jar is full of summer! This honey from the Wilhelmsburg district of Hamburg comes from the 2017 summer blossom of trees such as lime and chestnut. Its character is rather strong with a malty-nutty note. With its finely flowing texture, it is particularly recommended as a spread on bread, for dressings and to sweeten tea. The honey also has a companion: the small bag made from recycled envelopes contains wildflower seeds to scatter yourself, creating new food sources for bees and other insects.
HNYMEE was founded in 2016 by Lennard, Sara, Tommy and Lena in Hamburg. The quartet combines nature conservation and fair prices for beekeepers with modern design. Thus, the beekeepers receive a price for the honey that is significantly above the European average. In addition, the purchase supports nature conservation: 20 cents per jar goes to a bee conservation project.
