If you like good goulash, you will love the organic buffalo goulash from Bobalis! The buffalo meat with its low fat and cholesterol content has a particularly intense flavour. In order for the flavours to fully develop, the meat first undergoes a maturing process that lasts between two and four weeks. Try the goulash with spaetzle, dumplings, rice or bread.
Organically produced products from buffalo: this is what the Bobalis brand has stood for since 1998. The various cheese, milk and meat products are produced on the family-run farm in Jüterbog. Jüterbog is located in Brandenburg, about 70 kilometres south of Berlin. In the region, the Bobalishof is known simply as the buffalo farm. The farm started with 30 females and two males. Today, the herd consists of about 200 animals. Keeping the buffaloes in a manner appropriate to their species is a basic requirement for Bobalis. The animals feed on meadow grass, hay and grain grown especially for them. They also get plenty of exercise on large pastures. Due to this extensive rearing, the animals grow very slowly and the meat is particularly tender.
