A filter coffee as it should be! Our Motherland filter coffee blend is roasted particularly carefully and has a full-bodied and aromatic taste. Ideal for coffee enjoyment like at home with your mum. In our traditional drum roasting process, the beans from Brazil, Honduras and Ethiopia are lovingly roasted at about 200° C for about 12 minutes. This slow and gentle roasting process reduces unpleasant bitter and acidic substances and allows the up to 800 aromas in each individual bean to fully develop. Suitable for: Filter coffee machine, hand filter or French Press.
The port of Hamburg is the world's most important transhipment centre for coffee. Motherland uses this location advantage for its own coffee line. This is produced with love and care in small quantities according to a time-honoured roasting method from 1884.
