A RESTAURANT WITH HISTORY!

Welcome to Cölln's, Germany's oldest oyster bar. Fish and seafood were traded here as early as 1760. The separees, wooden panels and 30,000 hand-painted tiles are listed as historic monuments and tell a piece of Hamburg history. Famous personalities, aristocrats and merchants dined here. We at Mutterland are proud to be able to carry on this Hamburg heritage.

EVENTS

Good for every occasion: Whether birthday, family celebration, company anniversary or Christmas party, whether individual table in the separee or our entire traditional house - much is possible. We always offer the right setting for the business event or private celebration and serve a menu, a la carte or finger food as desired.

FEINKOST - MADE IN GERMANY

At Cölln's you will also find a small selection of delicatessen. Whether our Ossetra Caviar or Seafood Spices - we appreciate traditionally produced delicacies from all regions of Germany and therefore offer high-quality delicacies of small and medium-sized manufactories.

DID YOU KNOW...

...that numerous famous personalities have already been guests at Cölln's? Kaiser Wilhelm II, Otto von Bismarck, Hans Albers, Helmut Kohl and former mayors Henning Voscherau and Klaus von Dohnanyi have already dined here. Hamburg publishers Gerd Bucerius and John Jahr Senior also stopped by. Helmut and Loki Schmidt regularly ate at Cölln's. In the 1980s, Rudolf Augstein preferred to order the canal worker's slice with 200 grams of tartar of beef fillet, briefly gratinated, with a dollop of crème fraîche and two tablespoons of caviar. Tsar Nicholas came to Cölln's in 1897 on his way to England and dined with his wife in the last separee.

"We're going to slut it up at Cölln's".
