HAMBURG IS THE TEA CAPITAL OF EUROPE.
TEA TRADITION - "MADE IN NORTHERN GERMANY".
The distinctive tea culture in Northern Germany has already emerged in the 17th century. When tea came to Germany at that time, it first landed in East Frisia. So for the North Germans, tea has always had a great importance and so the East Frisians are even world champions in tea drinking with a per capita consumption of about 300 liters per year. The East Frisians traditionally drink their strong black tea with cream and "Kluntje" (rock candy). At Mutterland, not only the East Frisian will find what he is looking for. Our eight different black teas, for example, offer a good selection for every tea time and every taste: from strong blends like "Land Voraus" and "Namastee" to mild variants like the "8 o'clock tea" and the organic Darjeeling "Hafen Tee".
YOU SHOULD TAKE YOUR TIME FOR TEA.
ONLY CAREFULLY SELECTED INGREDIENTS.
BEST TEA QUALITY - NOW ALSO IN BAGS.
YOU HAVE THE CHOICE.
How about the "Tea of Inspiration", for example? An organic herbal and spice tea blend for creative spirits: with fennel, cinnamon pieces, ginger, licorice, lemongrass, peppermint, black pepper, cloves and parsley. Ideal for life artists and daydreamers.
Our "sailor tea" is particularly delicious. A blend of black tea with elderberries, lemon verbena, mallow blossoms, beech leaves, rose petals and cornflower blossoms provides a breeze of seafaring romance. We think: this tea is ideal for boatmen and mermaids.
