The cranberry is not only an extremely popular component of hearty dishes such as schnitzel or Camembert, it also makes this Schwerter mustard something special. In this combination, the classic Adrian mustard is refined with fresh cranberries, creating a fruity spicy treat that no cheese platter should be without. The mustard goes perfectly with meat dishes and is a delicious addition to dressings and marinades.
The Schwerter Senfmühle is a small, long-established family business based in Schwerte. At the end of 1999, the historic mustard mill was handed over from its predecessor Wilhelm Adrian, together with the secret family recipe, to the current mustard miller Frank Peisert. The historic double roller mill for crushing the mustard seeds was purchased in 1923 and is still in operation today. This traditional, cold manufacturing process ensures that the mustard seed retains its natural active ingredients.
