This medium hot, finely ground mustard was refined with whole yellow mustard seeds. These were soaked a day before adding so that they have the perfect consistency. Almost crunchy on the outside, super soft on the inside for the right mouthfeel. We recommend this mustard with fresh sausage or a juicy piece of grilled meat. Our tip: Store the mustard in a cool place, then it will retain its sharpness for a long time.
The Schwerter Senfmühle is a small, long-established family business based in Schwerte. At the end of 1999, the historic mustard mill was handed over from its predecessor Wilhelm Adrian, together with the secret family recipe, to the current mustard miller Frank Peisert. The historic double roller mill for crushing the mustard seeds was purchased in 1923 and is still in operation today. This traditional, cold manufacturing process ensures that the mustard seed retains its natural active ingredients.
