Thanks to the long stroke length per cut, you can cut a slice from the loaf in just two or three strokes. Like most Windmühlen knives, the blade of this bread knife is carefully blue-peened by hand. The resulting smoothness and fineness allow the knife to glide through the bread particularly easily. The highly ground, hand-polished serrated teeth in the style of the "Solingen thin grind" make it particularly sharp. Both right-handed and left-handed people can cut evenly with it. The knife remains in the cutting line.
