Pear mustard
Fruity mustard with 63% pears
This handmade pear mustard from the Bergisches Land is made from freshly harvested, untreated fruit. Unfortunately, industrially produced mustards often use candied fruit, which is always available but very sugary. With ground mustard seeds, a little apple cider vinegar and spices, a super intense fruit mustard is created that does not require any chemicals, flavour enhancers or additional oils. Goes wonderfully with an evening meal platter with spicy mature cheese. Also delicious with meat and good organic bratwurst.
Königskind is Uwe König's small gourmet manufactory in the Oberberg region. What began in 2005 as a hobby in the kitchen at home became an official project of the heart in 2014. From the untreated fruits of local nature, delicacies are made by hand in the small manufactory that have already been forgotten by many. Fruit spreads, mustard, chutney and co. are produced completely without flavourings, colourings, preservatives and flavour enhancers.
