Raspberry mustard
Fruity mustard with 70% raspberries
This handmade, fruity raspberry mustard from the Bergisches Land is made from freshly harvested, untreated fruit. Unfortunately, industrially produced mustards often use candied fruit, which is readily available but very sugary. With ground mustard seeds, a little apple cider vinegar and spices, a super intense fruit mustard is created that does not require any chemicals, flavour enhancers or additional oils. It goes wonderfully with cheese platters and is especially good with goat's cheese. Also delicious in homemade salad dressings and with grilled meat.
Königskind is Uwe König's small gourmet manufactory in the Oberberg region. What began in 2005 as a hobby in the kitchen at home became an official project of the heart in 2014. From the untreated fruits of local nature, delicacies are made by hand in the small manufactory that have already been forgotten by many. Fruit spreads, mustard, chutney and co. are produced completely without flavourings, colourings, preservatives and flavour enhancers.
